Today is Galen’s 1st birthday. It seems like just yesterday that I posted announcing he was (finally) here. And now he’s a year old!

I’m getting this update in late – Galen turned six months old two days ago. But my dad came up for a visit since he wasn’t able to come with my mom after Galen was born, and spending time with Granddaddy (and awesome Daddy) trumped all writing!

I have to admit I love elimination communication with Galen. There are times it can get frustrating, yes (especially when I get wet…) But on the whole I’m really enjoying it. I love Galen’s little facial expressions.

Elimination Communication is still going really well with Galen. I’ve been surprised looking at my site’s statistics – my update pages on Galen have been getting a lot of visitors. I’m glad to know that sharing our experiences with Galen may be helping some other families out there

I am in love with my babywearing coat! I’ve wanted one for a long time and realllllly wanted one with a baby in a northern MI winter. So when Scott’s office gave us a nice monetary gift after Galen was born I splurged and got my babywearing coat!
