So much to get done

I always have so much going on.  In a way I’m glad for that, especially right now. It makes the waiting go a little faster.  I’ve gotten quite a bit done in the past couple of days which is pleasing.  I got Cassidy’s clothes unpacked and her dresser pretty much done.  Today I got papers together for taxes.  Oh the joys of being self-employed.  I’m still going to have to collect up quite a bit to actually file my taxes, but I’m getting closer.  I’m hoping for a good return this year.  And hoping for a positive pregnancy test so I can earmark that return for baby stuff ;)

Scott called in sick today to try and kick this cough that he and the kids have had.  It was good to have him home.  I still did a lot of work but it was nice to have him on the couch for the kids to mill around, and I did sit quite a bit and read with him.

I roasted a chicken today, my second attempt at it.  It’s the chicken I couldn’t roast yesterday because I felt so nauseous (we had a quick homemade spaghetti sauce instead).  The chicken at lunch today came out absolutely beautifully.  This chicken recipe has some lemon in it and it is so tasty.  It was very moist and had tons of flavor.  I normally can’t eat much chicken but I at a whole breast.  I had potato chunks baking/frying under the chicken and they were yummy!

I can’t believe how voraciously hungry I have been.  It’s kind of strange.  Yesterday I felt totally nauseous but also hungry.  My stomach just *hurt*.  I have felt some nausea today but nothing like yesterday.  Today I have felt some slight cramping and had to pee quite frequently.  Not sure if that means anything or not.  I’m at 6 days post ovulation now.  I know it’s still very early but somehow it feels not quite so early.  Maybe because I’ve made it through my first week of waiting to know and there’s only one week left.

I am praying so hard that this is it. I have been feeling nauseous and so very, very tired. I know those could be from other things but it would be great if it were because of our own little peanut :)
