Well we had a really great weekend this past weekend, and it was made even better in the evening yesterday. Not only did we spend the time with friends, but I felt the baby move more than I have ever felt! Yesterday morning I felt the baby from the outside for the first time, just gentle nudges.
I can’t wait for that again for Scott to feel. But yesterday evening the baby was moving so much! We went to a cookout at the local college. It’s an annual fundraiser and they serve around 10,000 people!! We went early so as to avoid a lot of the crowds.
It was quite cold so we ate our buffalo burgers the went to the museum to warm up, as they had free admission yesterday. There was lots for the kids to do there, and after warming up we went to a lot of the outdoor activities for the kids. We were on our feet for several hours and walking for much of it. Scott had Brennan in the kid carrier backpack for much of the time and he was sore by the time we got home!
I think all that walking and rocking kept the baby sleeping for much of the day, so when we got home and settled down baby was up and moving lots! I was so very excited by it and I’ve been enjoying feeling movement today too. It’s probably one of my favorite parts of pregnancy
