Well I’m officially getting close to ovulation. I’ve been charting my fertility by keeping track of my cycles for just over a year now. I feel like I know my body pretty well, but I’m still second guessing myself now that I’m actively going to try to conceive.
But right now my fertile fluids are starting up and unless unloading the moving truck is extremely stressful and stops my body’s ovulation, I should ovulate in the next few days. I’m really excited about trying for a baby, finally! The plan is to try tomorrow and Sunday, depending on if my fluid has turned to egg-white fertile. (read more about cervical fluid checking).
Though some women say it’s not true for them I’m always more interested in lovemaking when I’m fertile. This is the first time I’ve ever been able to intentionally make love during this time and I’m really looking forward to it.
Such a new and exciting experience for me. I’ve been keeping up with an online community of women trying to conceive and their excitement is contagious. Waiting to try for a baby, then waiting in the “two week wait” to see if you made a baby… very exciting. I’ve been cheering the other ladies on for a month now and I’m so happy it’s finally my turn to give baby-making a go!
